Kevin really saw him. Looked straight at him. He knew he was there. How was the question that had plagued his mind until Jean walked into him. Subconsciously he could hear everything Kevin was saying. He want to say something back, he just couldn’t. He couldn’t move. Couldn’t think. Anything he felt was coming from Jean. From the darkness and the power. It really was more that he was able to handle. His mutation was still newer to him, not even he knew how it worked fully or why it did.
He heard everything she did what war was raging within her mind. Like a battle between good and evil. Light and dark. James was just an innocent bystander for a moment. Then the moment was gone. He couldn’t feel Jean anymore. He couldn’t feel anything. The tingling from his body lasted for a while as he lie on the astral ground. Maybe he was still in shock from the force of the Phoenix awaking within side Jean while he was there. Maybe it was why he reacted to. But did it work the other way? Being connected so long could she have sensed anything from him.
He wanted to go into darkness, just be there alone. But he couldn’t Kevin needed a friend as much as he did. So for a while he just lie there, silent, still. It seemed darker then voices cut through again. This time there wasn’t faces connected, just voices. “I know you can hear me…” James’ heart leapt into his throat. Was he talking to him. Then he realized no, but that voice so cold, so hollow. Pushing up James entered the black walking forwards. It was colder here. Like he was in between some weird limbo. “Don’t do me any favors.” The woman’s voice held a southern drawl. Drawing breath he kept moving forwards the voices were getting louder, more clear. Another step forward and he was somewhere new. Heart skipped a beat. And if he could feel he had blood in this plane it would have run cold. The man he’d seen before was now before him jamming a needle into a woman’s neck. Jamie could only stand there and watch. He was afraid of what he might pick up from the man.
That woman with the Red and White hair, she looked like she’d been there awhile. Weak she had wanted it to end he could feel that. But she was too much of a fighter to give up. Jamie stepped away as the man moved the woman, dressing her in an old shirt then again he hoisted her up on his shoulder. He was going to take her somewhere. The man moved dropping her into the trunk “Goodnight.” Jamie want to do something, anything but he couldn’t well physically. If he could have been in that plane he could maybe pick something up. It was something he’d been learning. Jamie focused on what ever spiritual energy he had or could tap into until he felt dirt underneath his feet.
Though it was dark there wasn’t that haze of the astral plane. Before the man could move Jamie’s fist shot out into the man’s chest from the back forwards. He was truly like a phantom now, one might have seen him if they believed in ghosts. Eyes closed with the darkness he got in return. Jamie punched again, this time slightly higher. Exhaling he pulled his ghostly arm from the man’s back. He didn’t feel so good. Something about that man. Jamie faded back into the astral plane as if he wasn’t ever there in the living one. Stomach churned. What he had left moved forwards…the woman in the trunk. One touch was all he needed, but all he got was a word…Rogue. It was for a moment like all the evils in the astral plane could sense him, were calling him, because of the evils of that man. Jamie sank to one knee it felt cold and he couldn’t shake the horrors from his mind. Physical body responded, slowly the beeps of the monitor were decreasing.

Suddenly she heard someone coming near, and you could tell something was up with X as she suddenly shifted her gaze towards the doorway. There the red haired woman came in and scolded Kevin and X in a way. Like they were children, that made X's eyes slowly glare at the woman. If she thought X was coorperating then she had another thing coming. X was not about to go back into some lab to get experimented on, not again, not ever. But there was other things at the moment that were more important than that.
Kevin was hysterical in his telling that Jamie was indeed there. They couldn't see him so he wasn't there...to X that made the most sense. Everything was becoming so crazy today. She was about to say something, even if only one word before suddenly there was movement in the containment room. Snapping her eyes towards the woman who came out of her little shell finally. She tauned Kevin and that made X not pleased at all. She knew her eyes were shifting colours, she always knew when they did, so far they were just amber yellow but that was the warning. At any moment a change could come. I change in which she would strike out. But X reminded herself of something, she noted it in her mind. This was something Kevin had to do, something he wanted to do and she was not a part of it anymore. It didn't take a genius for X to know that Kevin was not happy with her. In fact he showed it himself. At first he was angry and about ready to harm the woman but then he turned away from them all and left the room. Something that surprized X and told her for the fact that he was angry with her. He left without a word to X, without even a glance. Something inside X's mind churned. Her eyes didn't watch Kevin leave, she ignored him and when he was gone she watched silently as the woman fell unconcious and into a sleep, thanks to some type of Gas that Logan expelled into the air.
She didn't look at anyone right now though. She just stared at this woman laying down in the nude. She wasn;t reacting to anything anymore. Her hand raised once to rest on the glass before suddenly she felt something choking in her chest. Her senses began going hay wire as the room felt as if it was heating up. A memory reminded her of something from the past, and she suddenly looked up frantically. Turning her gaze towards Logan and Jean in total worry and concern while her form moved to back up against the wall. If it continued she would become panic stricken. But the woman, she was acting more odd than X. She seemed to not be herself anymore and with a horrible scream she fell to the ground. X just stared at her as Logan rushed to catch her and comfort her before taking her away. What was going on? X was so confused. Even down the hall she heard Jamie scream at the same time, it caused her to look towards the hall way and the door, and someone elses voice, who was that?
Logan was gone with the woman though, most likely to the med lab, but after a moment she heard him call for her help and without any defiance or hesitation she moved quickly out of the room and down the hall. Entering the room she didn't take much note of the fact that Cessily was gone as well as Kevin. Moving with haste to the bed sides, she watched Jamie's body react in such odd ways. She winced once or twice at the screaming of the machines before they began to relax. "How!?" she suddenly asked Logan as she placed a hand on Jamie's forhead. He was so hot and she was so helpless.

Logan exhaled trying to relax Jamie’s form in the bed. He’d only seen one other person react that way. When Jean first took in the Phoenix entity. But how could Jamie be acting in that way. Feeling exactly as Jean felt to the touch. Was Kevin right? Could he have really seen Jamie. If he did Logan needed to find an answer. With Jean down there wasn’t much he could do. X entered the room and looked up towards him “How!?” “I don’t know…if he keeps on like this…” Wolverine shifted his weight one of his claws extended from his knuckle as he tore apart a towel, drenching it with cold water.
“Keep this on his forehead.” He handed one over to X and the other he took to Jean. Placing it on her forehead. Then slowly dabbing it. Something happened with Jean. Something he couldn’t explain. She’d just collapsed on the floor. But the Phoenix. That was something he wasn’t expecting. Eyes looked over towards X and Jamie. He wanted to say sorry, but the words wouldn’t come to his throat. For a while it seemed as though Jamie stabilized. His attention was still on Jean. "...I didn't mean to break our deal. I was upset."
“Is he still hot to the touch?” He shifted to question X once more. Somewhere he was worried about the boy, maybe more so now if he really was his son. But he knew how X would probably feel about testing. She wouldn’t agree. Logan swallowed some with his back towards the two. “Jean isn’t going to experiment on you like they did. I won’t let her. It’s just a simple physical. And a sample of you’re blood for the file. I did it too…everyone does.” There was a bit underlying. He had to know. If X had similar genomes in common with Jamie, he’d be hard pressed not to accept it. For X-23 shared his blood. But beeps brought his attention up. Jamie was slipping again. Hand moved against Jean’s cheek. “Jean…you’ve got to wake up. The kid needs you’re help…”

She kept her hand on his head for just a bit longer. It wasn't like she actually knew what she was doing, no she wasn't trained in comfort, she wasn't allowed to be and so this was all just memorization. What she had seen others day when others were injured. She stroked his forhead gently before turning her eyes up towards Logan. A tilt of her head when he passed her the clothe. She took it, not exactly sure what a ripped peice of clothe would do to help but listened all the same. Dabbing it gently along his forhead, she mimiced Logan and how he treated Jean. Well a bit anyways. Suddenly his gruff voice spoke but it wasn't harsh or unkind. " But you did. How do I learn to trust as you say if I can't even trust you to keep a secret." her tone wasn't angry, it was rather calm and soft compared to how it usually was. She wasn't mad at Logan, no that passed a long time ago. But she still didn't understand how you can make mistakes like that. Perhaps one day she will learn. When her eyes slowly turned down they narrowed slightly. Looking at Jamie. " Kevin hates me." she stated suddenly before the pair narrowed just a bit more. " But I don't care. I don't need any of them...they'd all just do everything everyone else did anyways." So she didn't fully mean what she said, but like many damaged souls, X was shutting herself off in that sense. She put up walls and such, showing that she didn't care meant to her that she was stronge. Was that actually weak? Most likely, but X didn't see it that way, at least not yet and wouldn't for quite some time.
When Logan questioned about his tempature, she shook her head just slightly. "Not as much." Looking up at the back of Logan as he explained about this Physical, she seemed to sneer. " I don't want my blood taken...and I don't trust her." of course why would X trust her? She hardly trusted anyone. "Theres something else isn't there? That you aren't telling me." she somehow didn't care if he did or not, but sometimes the truth can sway a decision.
Her hand was burning, she growled and looked down at Jamie. He was burning up again, beginning to go out of control. She winced once more at the screeching of the machine, it was louder than what she was used to. "He is getting hot again...something is wrong."

He pushed on the button for the elevator to stop, he banged on it…. then he gave up. He knew this would make Ms. Frost so pissed at him, but he didn’t care. His hands were now ungloved again, and as soon as he could he blinked. Shit he needed his gloves. Picking Cess up he tried his hardest not to wake her… man that was hard. He frumped and groaned as he placed her on his bed. “Cess please stay here… I don’t want to loose you too.” That’s all he could say before searching through his room.
Taking off the acidridden shirt, he changed quickly into a new black polyester one. God he knew why this went out of style… but it was all he could wear. Placing his gloves on, his muscles flexed in the seeming ‘muscle shirt’ as he opened and closed his hands.
Within a moment he slid down the banister and jumped off before hitting the bottom… he was moving quickly. Something about his blood had to have made the acid and poison dissipate… either way, he was going to help Jamie. Jamie was his friend. Forcing himself into the elevator before the doors closed he pushed the down button for the medbay and waited the few seconds before the doors reopened to the sterile white hallway.
There was a lot of yelling and a bunch of panic… but he didn’t care, his body burst into the lab where Jamie and now a doctor lay on beds. Was this his fault? Probably, if he didn’t bring X near that Penance woman… well all this wouldn’t have happened. Now, however, wasn’t the time for blaming himself… now his friend needed help. Eyes searched the room, and X was there, confused and what seemed to be scared about how to help Jamie. “Move X…” he said as he moved over there and grabbed the straps off the side of the bed and strapped down Jamie’s legs and arms.
Moving he placed the rag back into the water and put it on his head, holding Jamie down with the other side of his body. “C’mon Jamie… get back here… you said you needed friends… and how do you expect to have friends in a coma, huh man?” Then he noticed something-yeah his vision was still blurry but he could see the majority of people… he wasn’t blind anymore. His eyes looked to his arms then down to his hands-how the hell is that working?
“Jamie man.. .come back to me… tell me what’s going on man!”

Wolverine better than anyone knew that for X things were different. Life wasn’t the same. She wasn’t like the other mutants there, she’d been trained as a killer. He’d been too. Why he and Scott Summers were always butting heads. Among other things. He was dangerous, feral, wild. Fought in ways no one else did, and used unorthodox methods. But Charles believe in him. And so did Jean. In time he found his place with the X-Men. “But you did. How do I learn trust as you say if I can’t even trust you to keep a secret.” “Mistakes are part of life. Part of growing. I’ve made more than my share X. Until you’re ready…that name will never be spoken again. Not by me. But a name makes us more human.”
“Kevin hates me. But I don’t care. I don’t need any of them…they’d all just do everything everyone else did anyways.” Logan’s eyes looked over Jean lying there before turning up towards X-23’s. It was going to take time with X-23. Slow baby steps. Like it took with him. He had to learn to trust the team. Sigh pulled from his lips as he shifted his weight taking the rag in his other hand. “I don’t think he hates you…he just feels…lied to. Emotions are hard things to understand. You weren’t trained to understand them, you were trained for one purpose same as me.” Learning to care was something so easy yet complicated. It could be viewed as a weakness or a strength. For Logan, the more you cared the more you were willing to sacrifice.
“I trust Jean with my life.” Came his simple response. It was true. The next closest person Wolverine trusted was Charles Xavier. Eyes looked back over to X as she questioned him about there being something else. Attentions went back to Jean for a moment lingering on her face. “I asked Jean to test it. Test it against mine…” When the beeping sounded again Logan turned looking at X who looked back up towards him. Something was going on with Jamie. Heart thumped in his chest. Kevin had just burst threw the doors and ordered X away. Trying to connect with Jamie, calling to him. Logan stepped up besides X-23 looking at Kevin holding to Jamie. They needed Jean, but she seemed stable, well to him at least. “What happened in that room, Kevin…”

She listened to Weapon X, as she still called him every once in a while. Her eyes were stuck down though, not looking at his form as he spoke of mistakes and the such. She shrugged just slightly at his words when she watched Jamie's motionless form. " He knows that name so...it doesn't matter if you call me it...go ahead. I...Want to be.." she stopped a moment though without continuing. It was hard to forget that she wasn't some experiment, something create and not really real. If you thought about it she wasn't real, just like Pinnoccio, she had to become a real girl. She had to find herself a blue fairy. That would be hard. "I want to be human...to be real." her words were low and hardly audible and she even let out a gentle soft sigh.
Slowly she looked at him when he spoke of Kevin and what her training was. He was right in one aspect, they trained her the way he was trained. To kill on command, to not ask questions. She was good at that once before, when she was young she always played along, now a days she was finding her own person. "They were monsters...Rice and Stryker and everyone.Them Not us." she said it so matter of factly that it was chilling. Sarah made her understand that about herself.
“I trust Jean with my life.” X tilted her head a bit, that was a hard thing to get out of them, so much trust. She knew Logan was once like her, well maybe not exactly but very much similar in most senses. “I asked Jean to test it. Test it against mine…” X took this into her mind and didn't say a word. That was until a few moments later when her eyes raised back to Logan. "Fine...But I do it for you..not her." When the beeping began, Kevin had charged into the room. X heard his footsteps before he even entered but of course she didn't know who it was coming. Watching him move towards her he pressed her away "Move X." Her eyes narrowed slowly as she moved aside and watched him talk to Jamie. Wolverine was at her side in a moment to and she heard him question Kevin. “What happened in that room, Kevin…” X had been content for a moment, in just talking to Logan. well in a sense talking, it wasn't much in conversation. She didn't care what happened right now. Slowly her form turned and she walked out of the room. Without a word, without a second glance. She needed to get out of there, she wasn't any help and she didn't want to be in there anymore. Not with machines, not with orders and deffidently not with people. She wanted to be alone and not to be bothered. She was slightly tired with people.
She took the elevator upstairs and when the doors slid open she made her way towards where she had found Jay before. Up on the roof tops. She figured it was a good place to not be disturbed. Like alot of people, she was shutting everyone out now. She pulled her knees to her chest and just watched the trees sway. A not so happy facial expression on her. She didn't want anything to do with anyone here anymore.

For a moment he just stopped as he felt the cold stare from X on his back…. It hurt him, inside not out… it hurt him more than he wanted to admit-that was sure. Tightening his jaw he closed his eyes… why couldn’t he feel him… see him? You aren’t at one with that plane anymore Kevin… a soft voice whispered into his ear… he growled some…. “Give me more of that bitches poison.. now… I have to be there for Jamie!”
Then, however, a question was posed to him, and his head lifted slightly, turning towards Logan, his brows knitting. “Jamie… when I couldn’t see, and when I was dying… I saw him… I saw the plane he’s on everytime he goes ghost… but he’s stuck there right now. He’s the one that forced me back… he’s the one who brought me back, and for some reason when I’m near blind, I can still see him. So damnit Professor Logan… if you want to know what’s going on with him, inject me with her blood.” That was all he could say before sitting on the table next to Jamie.
This was a Jamie who calmed down slightly but was still burning up. Jamie had to get back from that plane to this. He HAD to get back here, he had to get out of the darkness. “Jamie remember, I needed to tell everyone you need friends… well remember I do too… and so does She…” then he blinked and watched X leave. “No wait X….” but it was too late-she was gone and he felt like a complete jackass.
“I am sorry X…” he said softly before clenching his jaw and eyeing Logan. “If you don’t do it… I’ll do it… I know she’s asleep, but I will wake her and get that blood myself. Jamie’s the last person here…. He needs to be saved.” That was all he said before pulling his shirt up and pumping his fist to show a vein.

The darkness swam… moved. What tha hell? She tried to blink only to find she could not and the more she tried the more pain she felt… but she did feel a little bit stronger. Something else had happened too, her memory was flooding back to her and she remembered feeling a presence… something touching her, going right through her that was cold. Damn sensitive seventh sense, Rogue thought to herself and began to concentrate on moving her body somewhere… hell she’d be satisfied with a twitch from her left little toe. Five minutes later, nothing.
She was however beginning to get a feel for her surroundings, it was dark, stuffy and small… it also moved. Every so often whatever she was in hit a bump and she rose upwards slightly and came back down. Then she felt movement… she took a breath. 'bout time. She thought once again to herself, being that she was unable to speak. Taking as deep a breath as she could, the Southerner inhaled a strong odor of gasoline. A car? Yes, she was in a car… but where? Feeling her eyes beginning to twitch, she moved them around as best she could, no windows, no light. Maybe it was a van. All of the sudden she flew upwards, her body smacking into something above her… aah… tha trunk. She thought sarcastically and grumbled now as her head began to throb. At least she wasn’t dead… yet.
Well this current situation was defiantly going to give her time to work out a plan to get out of the on-going situation she was currently trapped in. Her first thought of course was to continue focus on gaining her ability to move back, hoping for a crowbar or something similar to be in here with her, and when the trunk opens whack!, but no that might not necessarily work, plus so far nothing had touched her and so she figured she was all alone in here. Secondly, Mister Creepy might be expecting something like that and there was the hard part, her captor seemed prepared for anything. But then other ideas began to swirl into her mind… better ideas.
Finally settling on a plan of action, Rogue drifted back into herself once more and ceased her attempts to regain her motor skills back. Now she had to wait and hope that the car wasn’t headed for her final destination.

The taxi pulled to a quick stop in front of what was now home. Grumbling slightly from being tossed around the back of the cab, Sofia paid the driver, retrieved her suitcase and with her backpack slung over one shoulder she entered the Institute… which was strangely quiet and seemingly empty.
Pausing just inside the main foyer, the South American beauty gazed around suspiciously, there was no sounds of televisions on in the game room, no voices chattering, no footsteps… no sign of life what so ever. Sure she had come back early from her Thanksgiving leave to spend time with Derek, her Father’s personal assistant and a now dear friend. (She even ended up having a lunch date with her Father which was indeed a first. ) So obviously she had missed something, but what? Puzzled, the brown eyed girl moved up the grand staircase and towards the room she shared with her best friend Laurie and hoped the blond haired girl was present there and had some knowledge of what was going on.
Tossing her usual ponytail back over her shoulder, Sofia’s slightly tanned slender hand turned the knob of the dorm room and she entered, pausing a moment to close the door behind her and turned, “ I am ba—“ Dropping her backpack from her shoulder, a puzzled look slowly over came her pretty features, “ Well, it seems she’s not here.” Great. Sighing, the young woman moved towards her bed and tossed her suitcase on it and proceeded to unpack. Moving over by her desk, Sofia stopped short spying a folded piece of paper there with her name on it in Laurie’s hand-writing, “Hm.” Picking it up and carefully unfolding it, she scanned the words written neatly on it and sighed once more, somewhat disappointed to discover her dear friend had gone off to visit her mother, Oh well. Placing the note in a drawer, Sofia flicked on the stereo and returned to unpacking.

Wings in the shadow, riddles in the dark; her dream-state was too complicated for the mind to put it into terms that were anymore tangible than simple imagery. What was going on in her unseen mind had boiled down to simple imagery. The Phoenix was battling with the Shadow King. A definitive good verses evil with an innocent caught in the middle, Jean holding the pieces together with what little remained of her resolve. Jean reached out desperately, grabbing hold of the first piece of solidarity her mind could find. Her astral hand reached out, finding purchase with the young boy. . o O (James…don’t be afraid. I won’t let either of them hurt you.) O o . The mind link flashed images from Jamie’s mind into her, and amid all of the internal horrors, one thing hit true. He’d seen Rogue.
Her eyes flashed open again, her own psyche ripping away from the turmoil momentarily. Jean’s hand flashed out, grabbing Logan’s wrist solidly. Her hand burned almost red-hot against his skin as her eyes cleared. “He’s coming. James found her… he’s coming.” She looked at him, but it was clear that she was seeing something else before her vision. ”Get away from him!” The glass frosted windows on the medical cabinet shattered, and Jean focused her mind again toward the entities residing in her. Strength came from somewhere else, offering a reserve of defense for the boy that she recognized at once.

A few miles down the road, Rancor switched on the radio, listening to the news report on a crackly AM station. His attentions were split between the drive and the reporter who was detailing the recent mutant protest crimes in Washington D.C. before cutting to a Christmas jingle. So far he’d hear no movements from the trunk of the car denoting that his passenger was resisting the heavy dose of drugs he’d given her. It would be a long while before he had to worry about that, his pusher always supplied him with the finest medical grade stuff.
His hand reached down and punched the cigarette lighter, and just as he was looking back up to the desolate road he felt a sharp pain in his chest. Both feet pounded the brake pedal as the car skidded wildly and then came to rest at a disjointed angle. Teeth bore, revealing sharp white amid his gums. He withstood the mind-blowing agony without voicing a protest, despite the sheer volume of hell his body was going though. A part of him enjoyed it.
Pain reminded him that he was alive; a valuable commodity considering his inception into the world. Survival and pain went hand in hand. Only after one is able to fully embrace the beauty of it, can they truly appreciate the other sensations that the creator had to offer. His hands clenched hard on the wheel, his knuckles white with the force behind it. And then finally the pain subsided. The lighter popped. He breathed in a shuddering breath and then fished out a cigarette, burning the tip with the glowing utensil. Smoke fanned out from his nostrils as he flared them in an animalistic sheer. Whatever that was, was gone, but that didn’t’ mean it wouldn’t come back. When it did he wanted to be ready.

Jay chuckled softly towards Nori. She was a good friend. One of the few Jay felt close enough too, and she knew about Julia. How hard it had been for him, how he still carried the scar. She’d seen it. Sometimes he felt bad closing off to her, he just didn’t want to hurt anyone, himself included. She’d made plenty to share. But tofu wasn’t his thing, so he just picked out some of the veggies and put them over rice.
Eyes looked back over towards the man before them. Bobby Drake. That name sounded really familiar to him, and then of course it clicked in. Iceman. Swallowing quickly his mouth full of food the winged mutant looked towards him. Even if he seemed more intrigued with Nori. “Iceman, Bobby Drake. You’re an X-Man. I thought you seemed familiar. I bet you know my brother and sister. Paige and Sam.” It had been a while since he though about his brother and sister. Even his other siblings back in Kentucky. After the incident with Julia it held to many memories. Sometimes he felt like he couldn’t go back.
That it was his fault she was dead. If things could only have been different. He sighed inwardly and looked back to his food. But other questions rose to his mind, like why was the mansion so quiet. Sure it was the middle of the night and all the students should have been in bed. But it was like there’s something more. Jay used his fork to push around some rice before looking up to Nori than over to Bobby. It sounded as it someone had just climbed up the wall or something. A brow quirked as he put down his fork. “You guys hear that? What the heck is going on...”

Another figure entered the kitchen a few minutes after Nori. He looked over the new figure and exchanged a smile. "Nice, to meet you Joshua." He scanned the boy and noticed the crimson wings. He reminded him of Warren for obvious reasons and he wondered of these two how many other new mutants resided at the school now. He had counted atleast five upstairs not including these two and was quickly becoming to understand why they needed him here. He could see why the growing numbers could be overwhelming.
"You seem like the type that's sure about alot of things, Nori." he laughed. "Don't worry, I'm not the type to tattle. Just don't get caught by anyone else. I don't really think that I have enough pull just yet to cover for you two." He finally took in a bite of his sandwich and his stomach thanked him for finally paying attention to his hunger. He laughed at the banter between the two, it reminded him so much of himself in the early days. Man, he wasn't that old. Definately not that old. Thank the graces he was the youngest of the first and he had aged so well. "Nothing wrong with keeping beverages cold, me personaly I cant stand hot liquid anything. Cept coffee... sometimes."
His meal finished he cleaned up his trash and wondered what was taking the other's so long in the sub basement levels. "So I heard through the grapevine that we might be teaming up again soon. Whatcha think? Hellions with the New Mutants..." He hadn't been informed about the different teams they had established now but he could have imagined that with a name like "Hellions" that the other group was one that he would have to look out for. And to think he figured this new assignment would have been a bore. Maybe they didn't need him to shake things up like he planned. Then again, if Scott was still lurking around here it would only be fair for him to play his part, there was only room for one stick in the ass in this place and he definately wasn't it.
"It was nice to meet you two, I think I should go get myself unpacked. Make sure you don't get caught out here. I would'nt want you guys getting in any trouble. First lesson, Watch out for your friend's. Lesson two, Don't miss me too much. I'm right upstairs if you guys wanna hang." he chuckled and with a wave he had exited the kitchen and made his way back to the main stairs. "I wonder if they kept my room?"
“You guys hear that? What the heck is going on...”
He paused as he didn't hear anything. "Not sure, but the mansion is known for weird and random noises. But if you're concerned then I'll check it out." Sounds carried, especially when there wasn't anyone occupying the halls. He moved out into the semi-lit hall and made his way up and then back to the kitchen. "I didn't see anything." It was times like these that he wished his senses where a bit stronger ala Logan's. He could only use what his limited human senses allowed him and for the time being that would have to be good enough.

About an hour or so later, Sofia had finished unpacking, had showered and changed clothes. Now clad in a pair of blue jeans and a simple yellow colored t-shirt, the young mutant headed downstairs hoping to find some signs of life… any to be exact; even Julian would be a welcome sight. Something odd was in the air, and she did not like it much at all, it made her uneasy and nervous. Sofia did not like feeling those things.
Once she had traveled downstairs, the brown haired teen summoned a small breeze of wind to carry to her any voices within the mansion… in the end what she got was something she did not want to hear, voices, yelling and the sound of glass breaking.
On discovering voices coming from the kitchen, Sofia began to move quickly in that direction, her form almost knocking into some guy... kinda cute actually, that she had never seen before as she entered and spotted Jay and Nori, “Yelling…glass...” She paused to catch her breath, “glass breaking...I heard it! The wind brought it to me.” She felt scared now, more so than she had been when she first thought the Institute was empty, “What is going on anyways? It’s like everyone has left here. Why?” She asked them, her eyes wide with fear and also concern.
