Green slices glared at the comment about her backside, but the forwardness was easily brushed off with a retort. “Oy! Aye’d think a broken nose would be the least of what you’d be deserving – Though it might improve the mug.”
Gilly flashed the pink of her tongue again, this time adding a wink of amusement. She couldn’t help the tendeancy to flirt. Often it landed her in trouble, but it was the easiest method to avoid embarrassment or side-step the quirks that life threw her way. She recovered the last of her paperwork, stuffing it alongside her books in the satchel slung over her shoulder. “Nine you say? – Aye’ll be there if yer buying me the first round.”
She gave Bam a wave as he skated off to his class, knowing her own window to get to class was quickly closing. She turned to Cale and Lex shaking her head in response to the antics she’d just witnessed. “Men…” she commented.
Lips parted as she was about to excuse herself for her next class, when none other than Ty, the campus’ resident “player” walked up, followed thereafter by her roommate Carly. She nodded in greeting, listening to the ramble of when and where the gang was getting together. It was the usual routine. Drinking till the bar closed and then stumbling back to dorms or apartments to glean what little sleep one could until class in the AM. In her case it was work at the hospital morgue.
“Homework?! – You’ve got to be jokin’. Dunnae tell me that you can’t manage to get in at least an hour of free time this evening. Sides, you wouldn’t leave me alone with these wankers would ya? Aye’ll not take no fer an answer!” the redhead called back as she turned to the walkway.
Part of her wondered if her schedule was posted on some kind of bulletin board. It seemed that Ty knew her every move... something she was going to have to ask him about after a few drinks, when he was off his guard.

Ty rolled his eyes “I didn’t ask for the definition of if.” There was always sarcasam between the two students, Carly was older than he was and a transfer student, all the more reason for him to jib at her. And the fact that, that was just his style.
The small group was departing for classes here and there, more talk about meeting up at BJ’s then going home. It was tradition and he had his own rules, but more than that it was a time to be with friends. Classes passed and seemed to drag on for Ty. He didn’t have any of the group in his next class, so that meant no amusement.
After class it was off to his internship, for a while anyway. It was a short shift today, he was covering half of it for a guy who’s wife was 9 months along. Dressed in the blue suit and black doc martins, he sat around and waited for the first call. Four car pile up on the 405 North. Perfect, the middle of rush hour, and with the accident blocking lanes of an already congested Los Angeles freeway.
Back at the Hospital he had the responsibility of wheeling the decease to the morgue. He didn’t mind it, and he had a strong stomach. He thought he would have been a perfect contestant for Fear Factor. Out of the ten people involved the guy in the Geo Metro didn’t make it. Guess that’s what happens when your in a crappy car and no seat belt. His head had gone through the windshield. Ty had to break it to get the man out without adding any more post mortem cuts. He’d been DOA.
When his shift finished he changed in the locker room, pulling on the jeans and tee shirt, messing his spiked hair then heading out. Taking side streets he found an empty meter to park at and shoved his keys in his pocket then headed down the side walk to BJ’s. It was already full of some other locals, most of them watching the UCLA game. They had their own area a back corner of the bar section with a tv and a raised round table with high stools.

His face took on a look of mock hurt, while hand slapped against the left side of his chest. “Oh, Gillian, you cut me to the quick.” His dimpled smile was back as he looked at her, brow arching towards the beanie as her tongue flicked out. “I’d watch it…next time I might just catch that tongue of yours. Ala, Iceman style.” Leaning forwards some Bam bit down so his teeth would make that clicking chomp sound.
Now, Barthalamew wasn’t as immature as he put on. In way’s he was similar to Gillian’s roommate Carley. He focused on his studies, and worked hard to pull the nearly straight A’s he’d carried from elementary school on. But he liked to have his fun. Be carefree. Mess around. And that occasional act of stupidity. Especially if that act involved Ty.
Shifting he grinned once again. “You know I’m good for it…so long as it’s anything I buy right. How ‘bout sex on the beach.” Wiggling a pair of eyebrows towards the Scottish red head, he chuckled. Then headed off on his way, hearing her mutter ‘men’ as he was heading down towards the path. That’s what he liked about Gillian, it was easy to kid with her.
His next class was a lab class. Those were always his personal favorites. Learning the technology, the equipment. More DNA testing, and comparing. Then an interesting exercise on putting hydrogen peroxide in the blood stream. At 30 percent, the red blood vessels pop. Then they did a test on alleles. Comparing two common blood types, related and how to tell which parent certain spikes on the chart came from.
Then his day was over. School wise at least. Heading back to his apartment, he grabbed something to eat through the McDonalds that was close to campus. Propping up his skateboard, he ate while reading his chem. Book, highlighting and scribbling notes for his paper. The clock read 8 by the time he was finished with everything. Including a break to play a bit of his video game.
With a quick shower, Bam was ready to go out to the bar. He knew he had to look at least better than a skate shirt, knowing Ty he would be challenged to talk to some girl or another that was pointed out. And knowing himself, he wouldn’t back down. With a splash of Old Spice against his cheeks and under his jaw, he pulled on a blue and white plaid shirt with dark jeans and a black leather belt, with a large Famous star belt buckle. Dark hair left un-beanie covered with it’s slight curl.
With apt key in his pocket, he headed out walking towards BJ’s which was only a few blocks from his and Ty’s place. Though for October it was starting to get as cold as California would. At least this part of California. Being so close to the coastline, added the chill of the marine layer. Made him feel like some hot chocolate, and got him excited for the snow season that would be starting up in Big Bear and Mammoth in another month...

A slender hand draped around her neck as she rubbed it gently. Psychology was the least of her worries… the ache in her neck was killing her, and grunting and groaning over a book wasn’t helping any either. “Cannea go now Mr. Donaldson?” Her voice trailed into the ears of her eldest teacher… the one teacher who favored her and let her pass with anything.
“Sure you can Ms. O’terry-“
“It’s O’Trehy” her eyes rolled as he continued on, but it frustrated her how none of her teachers could get her damn name right, and her first name… god help them!
“Right, O’terry… just read pages 708 thru 803 and you’ll be fine for the night… take notes as well please, it’ll help you on next weeks test on the human subconscious.”
Sighing she nodded and turned towards the door, putting her books in her oversling. “By the saints, this class will be the death of me…” Her head shook and she crossed her arms before settling down on the concrete and lacing up her blades.
“Least ‘e could do is pronounce me name right…” she continued to grumble as she continued to get ready. Unlike some students- some who were born in America, and some who were transfers…. She was a lucky one who had an accent all of her own. A mixture of Irish and American- due to the love of her father who sent her to boarding school in Ireland.
“Well… time fer me ta go… thank the saints.” Her head shook and she started off, slinging her cons over her shoulder and blading off towards her dorm. “Maybe in ta future he’ll get me name right… but fer now, I suppose I should get used ta being O’terry…” her body shuddered at the thought of not being Perin O’Trehy, but Perine O’terry. “Bloody imbeciles need speech lessons.”
Silently she grumbled to herself as she raced along the sidewalks of the campus, fiddling in her hoodie for her headphones. Coming out successful she popped them on and pressed play on her wristband mp3 player. If she had to be here, she was going to be here listening to Twisted Method, Lacuna Coil, and anything else she wanted.
Sliding into the hallway of her dorm, she ran up the stairs- mighty carefully- on the tips of her roller blades, using the rails as a steady reminder that her ass could land hard. Slipping into her room, she pulled off her hoodie and threw off her bag- not in that order, but the imagination runs wild.
Still skating around her dorm, she was knocked flat on her ass as her roommate opened the bathroom door. “Good God Perin!” Natalie rushed to her roommates side, who just shooed her away with a brush of her hand. “Eh, I’m used to this by you Nat… yer always going opening the doors on me face.” Nat only smirked and smacked Perin’s forehead in good nature. “Ach! G’damn son of shepherd… Nat that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt!” Natalie only made a sad excuse for an ‘I’m sorry’ face before shutting her door and changing.
“G’damn my luck…” her head shook as she rubbed the red mark that appeared on her forehead. “Per’aps I should just stay in today…” but her mind had different ideas as she raced into her room and began changing. Slipping on a new dego-t under another hoodie. Yeah, for more or less, she was a skater-chick, although hating being called that, she was.
Eyeing her face in the mirror as she applied her make-up, which consisted of eyeliner and coverup, she shook her head. “Nat, ye left me wit’ a welt!” a muffled ‘Sorry’ was heard, which only meant that a boy was over. “Ahh… well if she would’ve told meh…”
Sighing slightly, Perin fixed her curly hair with a few runthroughs with her fingers before blading out of the apartment. “Least I’m out before the sexcapades began…” Just as her door closed the pushing of the bed against the wall began. “Yep, my cue…”
Shaking her head as she bladed down the hall, she only stared at the stairwell before running down it quickly. “Safest… eh… way… eh… on… skates!” she told herself, grunting between words. Landing on the floor she groaned slightly before pushing her way through the doors and down the street towards the local pub.

Gillian sat though the remainder of her classes like a mindless automaton, sure she gleaned what little the professors had to lecture about, but it was definitely an ‘auto pilot’ kind of day. After she got back to the rental she had just enough time to toss her books onto her desk before heading out to work. This evening she was on rotation in the morgue at the local county general.
“You’re early.”
“Yeah I’m aware of that, but you see if I try to park the jeep when I’m scheduled that arsehole of a security guard Jenkins feels the compulsive urge to stop and talk to me for twenty minutes. – I’m just saving you the trouble of writing me up a pink slip.”
‘Yeah well don’t expect to get overtime. You’re already pushing the limits of how many hours I can book an intern.”
Gillian shook her head with a clever grin, She loved the old codger. “Wouldn’t dream of it John.”
The evening was the usual, for the most part. A ton of elderly patients, the standard operating procedure of crushing knuckles to get off wedding bands for the next of kin. The highlight of the night was a full autopsy on a murder victim, of which she was allowed to assist. Yep, pretty standard. That is until her favorite little miscreant strolled in with a DOA. She was in the freezer about to exit when she heard the familiar voice. “Shit,” She cursed ducking back inside. Frosty air puffed out as she felt her nerves tighten. After waiting for a while she came back out shivering. “Hey Gil, you just missed your friend Ty…” “Oh really?”
The redhead breathed a shuddery breath again, wondering why in the world she’d hid and for that matter why she was a nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
Three hours later…
An OxyContin was popped into her mouth and she made the final adjustments on her hair and makeup. She grabbed up her keys from the bowl by the door and made her way to the jeep. BJ’s parking lot was filled to the brim, as she’d expected, but after a few circles of the lot she found an available space. She stepped out, her chunky heeled boots thudding dully against asphalt. With a nervous tug at the bottom of her mini dress, Gillian felt she was as presentable as she could manage and walked into the throng of people.

Skating was an ultimate prize for her… she learned how to do it only recently, after all, there wasn’t much skating going on at boarding school. Even now, she still learns new tricks as she goes along. Thankfully, with her pact not to wear pads, she was a quick learner and only broke her arm in the beginning-twice.
The thought of that made her laugh as she skated down the parkway. “Cars cars… damn Americans and cars…” her eyes rolled. However, she knew she shouldn’t be damning what she was. After all, just because you grow up somewhere other than where you were born, didn’t mean that you weren’t still what you were.
Huffing slightly, her body leaped, and she managed to land on a hood of the Lexus before her. Scratching the hood, the alarm instantly went off. Laughing she shook her head, “teaches ye to be into yer possessions.” Smirking her body turned and she ran into the owner.
Falling right back onto her ass, she looked up and blinked. “My car!” Her eyes widened as he ran towards it. It was no struggle to get up. As she did she glanced back, his body turning towards her and his mannerisms growing into anger. “…See ya!” she spotted before taking off skating down the sidewalk.
His large body hauled ass after her, screaming profanities and talking about her owing him money now. “Oy! You ‘ave a lexus, be grateful!” She let her mouth huff as she jumped over a fallen garbage can. “Shit!” she screamed, arms flailing before landing and continuing on her way.
Turning west, she continued to skate, stripping her body of her hoodie and dropping it in the bushes where a bum was sleeping. “Aye, there’s a present.” She doubted he heard her, she was moving quickly… curls flowing behind her. However, she could still hear the man barreling down the street. Gotta loose him… was all she could think as she skated down the streets.
Turning behind a car, she twisted and twirled twice. Finding herself spinning and running into another car, setting off another alarm. “Oy, today ain’t just my day…” her hand hit her forehead before her hazel orbs widened. “Shit!” came in a muffled voice, her body ducking below the windows of the car and crawling over two in front of it.
The large man ran past, grumbling and huffing about his suit being Gucci. Peaking out from the little Saturn she hid behind, her right brow raised as she wiped a line of sweat from her brow. Taking a deep breath she stood and headed the opposite way, skating slowly as to let her legs cool down.

There wasn’t much she could do, lately everything had been on autopilot for her… and even this chase just seemed to happen like as if it was part of a normal day. Something was wearing down for her. She shook her head some before skating around the park. Something had to be done about this…
Falling down where she had thrown her hoodie, she offered a handshake to the bum that sat there. “’Ey Charlie, ‘ow ye doin? Brought that as a present fer ye…” She smiled again before pulling out the bottle of wiskey she had bought for the man before returning to the park.
“Bless your soul Perin… you know how to make an old man like me happy.” He smiled, although he was missing teeth here and there, he was still a nice old man.
“Tomorrow me roommate’s going on a road trip with her boyfriend… I’ll pick ye up and we’ll get you there to take a shower, mmk? I’ll feed ye real nice too… none of this penny shite. You’ll ‘ave a meal in ye for the day, an per’aps a new outfit yes?” if only her dad knew what she did with the money he sent her every week. Hell, she worked for her money, she wasn’t going to use his, except to help people like Charlie here.
Pulling out a metal cigarette holder, she smirked some. “Care for a cigarette?” They were home rolled… of course with a special mixture of tobacco and mescaline. She wasn’t a fiend for it, but when she found herself on autopilot, this was a good way to get herself back in the mood. Lighting the cigarette, she inhaled deeply and passed it to Charlie. For five minutes they repeated the process.
Smirking again, she slowly rose and offered two extra cigarettes to Charlie before skating off in her daze. Lighting up another cigarette she smirked slightly. This one was a counter effect, some meth for the love. This way, she wouldn’t be… too screwed up.
Smirking as she inhaled the smoke, however, the effects of the mescaline were already running deep within her. She was feeling the warmth, feeling the tickling sensation that was brought over her. By now there was no color in her eyes… just the whites and pupils that expanded greatly. Sighing softly, her bare arms grasped the door of B.J’s and she let herself in, flicking the cigarette before entering.

There was word of rain. Very rare that word was used. Especially in California. But it was reported. And the mountains were reporting a good foot of fresh, real snow over the weekend. And that was very good new to him. Muttering as the chilled air bristled the hair on his arms. Hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans. At least he was close to B.J's. As sneaker clad feet brought him closer he eyed the parking lot. Full of cars per usual. And the front had people standing outside smoking.
There were a few people from classes here and there. His head bobbed up with a nod as he moved through the doors. the place was already packed, but it was the place to come. Especially for the college crowd. Pushing past some of the gathered throng by the bar. He stopped leaning forwards. Rising his voice over the music, and the chatter and the UCLA game going on in the background, where jocks were shouting 'Go Bruins!'
"How's it, Joe...hit me with a Bud."
Ty would have been there already, in the usual spot with at least one drink finished if not two. It was how his roommate was. Shifting with his beer in his hand he pushed back through the crowd. Then a whistle came forth. He'd seen Gillian first, as she was making her way inside. Moving closer to her he took a swig then extended his hand to her.
"Ready for that shot I owe ya?"
When he felt her take his hand he pushed back through the group. Some guys looking over the red head. Bam could hear them talking amongst themselves. 'Dude shes hot' and the likes thereof. He wouldn't deny he had the same thoughts. Like it was with most people a good accent could do you in. Making some space at the bar he set down the beer and nodded to Joe, until he came over.
"Two shots, sex on the beach. See told ya I'd make good."
Smirking his dimples came out as he leaned closer to her commenting. Then straightening back up he looked around the bar, he could see the spiked head of Ty siting at their usual corner. He was about to say something more when their shots came. Taking the pink colored shot he lifted it, raising eye brows towards her. Then in a quick swallow he emptied it setting the glass on the counter. The mixes of Vodka, So Co, Oj, Schnapps and the fiz of 7-up, went down easy. Licking his lips he grinned an almost boyish grin.
"So was it as good for you as it was for me? Joe a drink for the lady..."
Picking up his beer again he looked through the crowd to where they were supposed to get to. People moving and shuffling around. Nodding his head the direction of their spot he started to make his way out of the congestion once again...

Entering the hallway, well to say the least, it was jam packed. She was surprised she could even wiggle herself in. Sitting down on a bar stool she pulled her right leg up and began to unlace her blades.
“You want me to keep these back here for ya Perri?” Joe said with a heartfilled smile.
“Aye, knock yer socks of bloke. But if dees go missin, I know who’s block I’ll be knockin.” Winking she handed him both at once and slipped on her vans that dangled from her belt loop. Black with white stripes matched the black jeans she wore. Never to impress, she wore a white dego-t.
“Jeese Perri, you’re a pretty gal… why don’t you dress the part? I mean, guys would be drooling all over you like they do that red head over there…” He pointed to Gillian who walked away with Bam Pescot.
“Well… thanks for boostin me confidence, I t’ink, plus… what do I ‘ave ta offer. I got a new internship that’ll be takin up most of me time… an’ a pretty busy school career as well as a job.” She shrugged slightly before he smirked.
“Yeah, by the way, here’s your schedule for next week… cause of that internship, I’m giving you a few days off.” He smiled and handed her the paper, messing up her already messy curls when he ruffled her hair.
“Joe… get back ta work…” Perin smirked before hopping off the bar stool and walking down between people to her normal hideaway. Three tables from the back, all the way to the left. Yeah, she was a loner… but she did have those school-girl crushes. Too bad those school girl crushes always hung out with the girls she would never be like.
“Aye Perin… jus’ calm yerself… one day Mr. Right’ll come along… and…. Bah ‘oo am I jokin’… Mr Right?” She merely laughed as she sat down, pulling the local music magazine from the corner pocket of the table.

The rest of her school day went just about as well as pulling a tooth from a gator. More homework, more reports. More reading. More everything. But not much in the way of fun. It couldn't be helped sometimes, that's just how college life went. Work, Internships. Social life if you were lucky. The young Louisianan woman sighed as she finished getting ready. She had to work for part of the night. Not that she mind, it was money. And money was always useful. Especially when your trying to put your self through school.
B.J's was packed, like always. Maybe that's why she liked it. It seemed that everything lately was reminding her of home. She couldn't help it. When your hundreds of miles away from where you grew up, it's not hard to see home anywhere you look. She was busy getting drinks when Ty had come in taking up his usual residence. She brought him his drinks. And she'd caught a glance through the crowds as Bam and Gillian made their way through as well. She liked the group well enough, but sometimes it was nice to have others.
Turning she saw the blonde girl sassing Joe. They worked together before she'd even met the group. So perhaps Perin was her first real friend in Los Angeles. And they were both away from home. New Orleans and Texan muddled accent sounded as she caught the girl before they split for other tables. "After we quiet down, you want to come have a few drinks with us? I promise chere they aint as bad as they seem." she nudged the blonde with a smile and turned to take the order of a rather roudy table cheering on UCLA...

Sipping her drink, her eyes ran over the magazine before she felt a bit drowzy. Man she loved being on what she was on. But then again, some things in her life really urged her to quit. Sighing slightly she looked up to the game, only to catch the sight of Alexis-one, if not the only, friend from her school.
“’Ey Lex… long time no see…” The invite seemed a bit tempting… although there was a bit of a problem there. Pulling Lex down towards her, her eyes narrowed and she crinkled her nose. “Ye know I can’t! Ther’s that whole crush thin’… an’ Shy Perin doesn’t mix well wit’ crushes.” Letting Lex go, she sighed and sat down again, pulling up the paper she was once reading.
“Lex, go ‘ave yer fun, I’ll talk to ye later… you ca’ come over tanight mayhap.” She nodded some before crossing her converse clad feet under the table. Taking a sip of her Guinness she hummed slightly to herself.
If no one knew her, they would think she was born in Ireland by how she talked and held herself… but those who did know her, know the story behind her accent and her life.
Perin had been sent to boarding school when she was five by her father and step mother. She hadn’t returned home to the US of A until she was 18 years old. By that time the accent, the brooding, all this had taken over the young blonde and she became the ‘irish lass’ in her family.
However, her drug abuse hadn’t started till she came back. She hadn’t seen her father in nearly eight years by the time she was sent back. And when she got home, she had to wait on the stoop for five hours due to the fact they forgot. It took coming home to California and making friends with all the skaters, for her to find the things that would allow her to escape in life.
Now-however, she was finding new things. Friends for one. Lex was always one who disproved of her smoking, not cigarettes of course, but of her other smoking habits. For once… well she felt cared for.
Smiling to her friend, she nodded. “Go, ‘ave yer fun.”
Light brown eyes rolled as she slid into a seat next to Perin after she’d put in the order for her next table. Lips pursed softly and the Cajun raised young woman stared down her friend. “ ‘E’s not gonna bite ya know. Don worry ‘bout it…’e’s really a goof. Come to tink of it, both o’dose boys are, de only one dat isn’t is Cale.”
“Perin..I thought ya were gonna try t’stop all dat.” Nose wrinkled some as she looked the blonde over than shoulders dropped. Brows narrowed as she gave a knowing glare to the girl. “I worry ‘bout ya an doin’ dat…I jus don seem right.” Hand clasped on her friends shoulder as she gave her a slight hug then headed off to take more orders.
She tried to bring Perin into the misfit of a group, but she always seemed more content with her skater friends. But maybe it was just the fact Alexis didn’t really see them as the best kind of friends to have. But there was little room for her to talk, he group wasn’t much better. The best thing she could do was be there, and that’s exactly what she planned to do…
Staring at her waitress friend, she shook her head before getting up and rushing over to her. “Go ‘an play me lil duckie… I’ll finish yer shift. Ye don’ wanna join them when they’re too shitefaced to know yer there.” She smiled and kissed her friend on the cheek.
“I may like the silly one, but ‘es the one wit brains…” She smirked, giving a bit of a look towards Bam before sighing and facing Lex again. “Go on wit’ya, I’ll join ya when I’m done.” Her hands fiddled quickly as she took of her friend’s apron and put it on herself. Staring over the lists of people and tables she nodded slightly. “Ye know I got it… go on wit’ch’ya.”
However, before her friend even left she smiled. “Thank ye for carin so much Lexi… it… means a lot. Gillian downed her shot and without a break in pace she turned to Bam and pulled him close. Lips whispered feather light, yet throaty words into his ear. “Gee if I knew it was this easy to get you to give me sex on the beach I might have taken you up on your offer a good bout sooner.”
She withdrew bouncing off lightly toward the regular table. “Oy! Hey there Ty, hope you saved me a seat love.”
She stumbled a little, the effects of the illegal prescription, combined with drink on an empty stomach affecting her motor skills rapidly. Quickly she recovered, eyeing up the floor and her unpractical shoes with a giggle. “Can’t take me anywhere can you lads?”
Gillian grabbed a chair and sat down next to Ty. Her elbows rested on the tabletop as she immediately shifted subjects to avoid her usual clumsiness. “You wouldn’t believe the autopsy I got to help out with tonight. I tell ya it was brutal. Man I really hope my aspirations to be a forensics investigator pans out. It’ll be bitchin’ when I can finally dig in with my own scalpel.” She was talking fast, hoping that the shift in topic would be a good cover. “Hey… which one of you boys wants to get me another Freudian titled drink?” Teeth dug into full lips as she looked between the lads.

Why wasn't she going? She should be studying, she had a test tomorrow blah, blah. Lips pursed in avid frusteration. She hated this, she hated being caught between what she should do and shouldn't. The should do was practical, but the shouldn't do was fun. She thought about the day that had passed by, classes, work and now homework.
" Grr." If she didn't show up she knew her cell phone would ring until she got annoyed enough to turn it off, then the phone located in her's and Gillian's place would ring off the damned hook until she practically ripped the jack out of the wall. She'd have sixty voice mails on her cell, and a bunch of text messages aswell. Tossing her pencil across the room, the studious young woman stomped across the room to her closet and began to search for something to wear, because going out in sweats just wasn't her style, unless it was a quick trip to a grocery store.
Having decided on her favorite pair of blue jeans, black sneakers and a black shimmery shirt, Carly slipped on a little lip gloss and was out the door. Settling into her lime green Bug, the New Yorker sped down the road with Liz Phair blarring.
Reaching B.J.'s, Carly expertly swerved into a parking spot across the street and made her way inside. The usual people were there, most gathered around a tv screen with a game flashing across it. Her brown eyes scanned the hazy and dimly lit bar until she spotted the group. Quietly she strolled up and plucked a shot from the table they were seated at and downed it then pulled up a chair and sat down.
