The caged animal was loose and quite savage it seemed. Wild were the eyes that flashed over Redd. “Such a lovely throat… will be such a pity when I slice it open. While his right hand worked to maneuver the blade, his mind was on her abrupt recovery. "Once the Captain is dead, the ship will be mine, but to be frank? I’m really not after the boat. I just want to slice that smug look from your face.”
He lunged out with the dagger deliberately missing her, but with his left, he threw up the length of rope and then ducked down and then to the right, slicing a high diagonal slash aimed for her face… mainly the cheek. Right now he wanted to watch her crumble, later he would overtake her boat and crew, but in this moment, it was all about breaking her down psychologically.
Locks of wet brown flicked salt infused water as he dodged here and there, the lacings on his fencing shirt were untied, so the intensely agile movements of the knife fight easily revealed a good portion of his sculpted torso. “Oh I’m sorry, Darling it won’t happen again I swear.” His voice was toying childish even.

Always watch the shoulders her father used to tell her when she was little and he was in port to visit and taught her how to sword fight at a young age. And so she was doing so now, watching Mr. Turner's shoulders to see where he would move, how he would move and so forth. This was going to get interesting Redd was sure, but it had been a while since anything remotely interesting had happened on board the Peril and so this would have to suffice.
" Now as I said Mr. Turner you're no good to me in Davy Jones' Locker. You will serve me better alive and standing on a slave auction block being sold." She was quick to tell him, usually the notion of what she planned to do with a Captain and his crew caused him to stand down, but somehow she was sure this man would be a difficult one...he was already being fairly difficult as it was.
" Smug look? An ye call yourself a pirate...I'm not impressed." She watched him deliberately miss her and arched a brow moving to the right as he tossed the rope," Cheater." She muttered," An' I assure you Capt'n Turner that if ye git passed me, my girls will be even more hell to beat." She warned, but he would not be beating her if she had anything to do with it, which she did.
Quickly she raised her own blade up to clash with his as he went for her cheek, “Now that was ruddy naughty o'ye...and I thought I could fight dirty." She mused, a bit of tease to her tone. And then he called her that annoying pet name again, which caused her emerald stare to roll," You're incorrigible." Redd took a swipe at his midsection, ducking at the same time incase he tried to go at her face again.
At least he was moving, she hoped to move him right back into a corner, trap him and then it would be all smooth sailing from there, but damn was he good none the less," Ye fight pretty good for a man." The thick British accent was full of mock, she hoped to rouse his temper a bit more to over take him and win.#nosmileys

“Learned from the best cheater there is love, but would you think less of me if I told you that you’re awfully cute when your cheeks redden like that. I must admit it quite the winning creature. You’ll look better once I’ve seen you saddled and broken upon my mantle.”
William of course was speaking metaphorically, and had absolutely no intention of winning her over, nor bending her over his knee, he was simply trying to get a rise out of her so that she would make a mistake. His neck popped with a swift dodge of his form dancing to the side away from her slashing blade.
“Ooh you’re very good darling, but I think I’ve grown tired of all this dancing around.” In one seamless motion he switched the blade into his dominant hand and began to advance on her. His lips were grinning, but just barely and when he spoke the clever hint of English accent grew as sharp as his blade.
“Incorrigible? Don’t you mean incredulous?” his smirk widened and he slashed up the side of her form hopping to run the blade up the line of lacing holding her corset in place. Granted he wasn’t in the mood for the roll in the hay, but he hoped that by disarming her of that burden the fight might actually be worth his time.

Redd was ready for whatever he did next, she had to be it was it seemed life or death at the moment. However she was not quite prepared for his choice of words," My cheeks do not redden..." Her eyes widened a bit at the rest of his sentence and she shook her red locks in defiance," I think not." At that point even she could not deny the face her cheeks had blushed slightly, she felt the warmth of the flushing rising across them and the bridge of her nose.
" The best cheater eh? An' jus' who might that be.. the best cheater that is. " She had to keep her cool, he was probably trying to get her guff, make her trip up. Not this time around," Save yer words scoundrel you won't be catchin this pirate lass off guard this day." However it would soon become evident she had spoken too soon, a slight downfall of the lass that she tended to get rather cocky in a fight or argument.
" I'm good? Why thank you and I was going to say the same about meself." The British accent was dripping in sarcasm. Her brows furrowed as he made an attempt to correct her, which resulted in her shrugging," Whatever works for you Luv." If he was going to play the name game, so was she.
And then that sound...the sound of material being cut and she felt the stays of her corset loosen, in fact the whole thing loosened," Bloody hell!...Me corset." And indeed for a moment she was caught off guard. Then quickly trying not to miss a beat she simply ripped the article from her form and once again took up a defensive stance for the moment, the shirt that had been located beneath the corset billowing out, almost swallowing her curves as it were.
" Two can play that game Mr. Turner." Her tongue quick to warn as she slashed forward at his shirt , her form having to move closer to his as she made her move, the sharp tip of her dagger running down the length off the button area popping each one off until none where left and he was left wearing an open shirt," Hmm." Quite the view indeed, such chiseled features...however now was not the time to gaze at the assets of a well built man, it was the time to defend one's self.#nosmileys

“OH and there they go again. (He said in reference to her blushing cheeks) I wonder how long it’s been since they were reddened by something –other- then a quip of the tongue.” William caught the blade that was cutting his buttons twisting her hand until she dropped the weapon, ignorant to the blood that was rushing from the slice on his hand. “If I told you who my mentor was you’d never believe me. So what’s the point, I fence better then him anyway. Pity you’ll never live to see it.”
The blade of his own knife was pressing it’s edge against Amber’s throat. With a gentle push and drag he could kill her… Breathing ragged breaths over her skin William took in her perfume. Not the perfume that one might buy in Paris or Madrid, but the perfume of a woman’s light perspiration… her pheromones… and hers was quite consuming.
For a moment William simply looked, as Jack would say, ‘If you were waiting for the right moment… this was it.’ He was far too daft to pick up on that fact and it was in her favor. One knee to the groin and William was on his knees. And even when he was recovered and began to push his way to his feet he was met with a kick to the face. He shot her a look of contempt which Redd questioned with a quirked brow, “Oh I’m SORRY Mister Turner… did you have something to say?” William tossed his wet locks from his eyes glaring again, “Your leg… I’d like to break it…”

This was turning out to be quite the fight. Redd was sure it was far from over as well. No blood was yet to be drawn, however they had made impressive moves even if they had resulted in petty advancements. torn clothing, popped buttons and so forth. What next a lock of hair?
Redd was rather amazed no one had come in and asked about the commotion...but Redd figured what her crew was most likely thinking if they indeed heard the sounds of the fight from outside her doors, something other that what was really happening.
And then he had her," Ouch...damn you let me go..." But then she moved quick and had him," You bloody well asked for it ye know." Her arms folded slightly, she had half a mind to offer him a hand to get up, but at the moment didn't instead she walked cautiously around him," Well done Mr. Turner, good show." A tiny insult of a clap was offered as she eyed his weapon discarded on the ground, swiftly she kicked it out of his reach.
" Now then are ye to be a good boy or will I how did you put it now?" Mockingly she rested her slender index finger to her chin a moment then smirked," Ah yes saddle you and break you then place you on my mantle or something like that." She crouched down a moment, her red locks falling over one shoulder as she tilted her head looking at him, her lips parting to speak some clever remark until…<br> “Capt'n Mr. Turner's room is ready 'long wit some fresh clothes..." The girl looked half scared and half bewildered at the sight she beheld, her Captain crouched over the form of a captive, both sweating and breathing heavily. Redd's gaze instantly shot up," Very well. You are excused back to your duties." The girl nodded quickly and disappeared, her next course of action would be teaching her crew some manners such as how to knock.
Silence rained a moment, then Redd began to stand," Well then your room is ready, follow me." She paused half way standing and lowered again," Hope that was as good for you as it was for me." With that she offered a wink then moved towards her doors and out them waiting for William to follow.#nosmileys

Begrudgingly William Turner knew defeat… at least for the moment. He was disarmed, sopping wet with salt and rain water commingled with the sweat from his efforts to overtake the female captain. Tossing a face-full of mismanaged locks from his eyes, William grimaced. Almost muttering aloud what his mind was thinking. ‘I hate this woman.’ Deep chocolate eyes glowered up at her triumphant face as he groaned a little due to the throbbing pain she had inflicted upon his groin. She kicked his sword away, and he gave it one last parting glance before standing fully upright.
“Saddled and broken?” his cultured English accent soured along with the sneer of his expression. “Is that how you keep them in bed?” He smirked at his own clever retort, and then on the heels of that he answered her last rhetorical question. “I’ve had better.” He said with a blank deadpan face.
Following her though the ship toward the room, he gave sidelong glances to the crew as he passed. Each one of them seemed to have an expression of laughter on her face… they were all laughing at him, at his crew in the brig below, at his sunken ship and… and… at him. Sea worn hands clenched in fists at either side and he set his jaw tight, his back straight.

Her lips parted just so, her breath not slowing down as quickly as she would like. He had riled her, and damn him for doing so. Slender fingers tightened upon the ornate door handle and slowly pulled it open to reveal the darkening sky, not by clouds any longer, but by the change of the day into night.
Women were situated about, some doing various tasks, others talking and socializing. Some eyes wavered towards their Captain and the prisoner, some of them questioning and curious.
Redd ignored them, it was none of their business quite frankly. In fact just to alert them to said fact, the Redhead shot them a glare, most turned away and paid no mind thus after. The rest of them stole glances and whispered to one another. Females will always be females. Including the fact at hearing the news spread that their Captain had beat the Prisoner rather well made her crew snicker in delight. Amber did her best not to snicker along with them, but didn't manage it that well.
" No." She turned green eyes full of a glittered want and moved slowly towards Mr. Turner," Maybe if you're a good prisoner you'll find out how I keep men in my bed." By now this comment was given right against his ear. Moving slowly away, Redd led her captive down into the second level of her ship, the corridor a bit tight, but breathable," Your room is occupied by a toiletry area so you may freshen and join me for Dinner." The door was kicked open, her slender form resting against the door, her emerald stare watching his movements.” And the dinner offer is a request. Not an option."
By now she almost had full control over her heart beat and breathing, but she would not look at Will directly... that reason obvious, he got to her during that fight. Even if it was only a little he still had, but Redd was not about to let him be aware of it.#nosmileys

William’s face softened as he mocked that he was actually considering this offer. His fingertips grazing across his well trimmed moustache then down to his chin as he quirked a brow. Sucking his cheeks in as he pursed his lips, William smiled and in a sugary-sweet condescending tone answered loud enough for most to hear, “Not in a ‘thousand’ years…”
His face again returned to the stone expression and he continued to walk. He followed her into the room, taking in the contents with a clever eye. The blacksmith in him admired the metalwork here and there, but the pirate in him was searching for anything that might serve as a potential weapon. The salty sea dog tilted his head to one side and again gave her a look of disbelief. Was she serious? Dinner, when his crew was down below probably feasting on moldy bread and contaminated water? An old line often spoken of his late wife sprang to mind and he offered it now.
“Thank you. But I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request.” Although William did not deliver it with the high and mighty tone that Elizabeth was oft to use, the strong tenor that carried his words also carried the anger that boiled in his heart.

Fingers moved along the rough and worn wood of the door. It should have been replaced long ago, but she liked the weathered look of her ship to be all over. She liked her ship to look old, well traveled and used.
Orbs of green did not waver however from Captain Turner, she watched his eyes travel around the room and gave a sly smirk," Don't bother lookin for any thing that will help you to escape Mr. Turner. Anything that was considered a weapon was removed." The sly look remained across her sun kissed features, she hoped it would make him mad. She liked to see him mad with fury it made him more...desirable. It made her mind wonder about the kind of lover he could be when provoked just right.
“We'll see about that thousand years Mr. Turner." Her English brogue challenging him in her subtle attempts to drive him mad, even over the edge," You will either dine with me, or you'll become the new decoration at the front of my ship, naked." Eyes traveled slowly across his frame at the very idea of him naked," You got thirty minutes. When you're ready go to the top deck, there will be a member of my crew waiting to escort you further."
Taking hold of the handle, the Redhead pirate moved to the leave the room and then paused briefly," Don't try to leave the ship either. You are being watched." With this warning given, the tall woman moved and shut the door behind her.
~
She rolled the self made cigarette around and lit it carefully, her emerald orbs staring out the open window of the formal dining area on board. The smoke lazily rolled out into the night air and was lost to the smell of the salty sea.
She had changed her attire, and now looked quite formal, for a woman in trousers. They were black, specially tailored for her, and she had a deep green golden sew dressing jacket over her clean silk white shirt. Her red locks hung loose, ringlets through out the thick mane.
Behind her lay a table lavishly laid out, two kinds of meat, duck and fish. Flaky rolls, melting butter, various greens and potatoes. A bottle of wine sat near her end of the large piece of furniture and a flask of water near the middle. Candles gave just enough light to the setting.
She waited patiently. She knew he would come, he would not deny her this. She knew he would deny her many other things… for now. A smirk crossed her face, how she would enjoy breaking him. Redd was the kind of woman who enjoyed it all the more when they fought, gave her a challenge. Just rolling over for her had never given any satisfaction at all.
Hearing the door open, Amber slowly turned, half expecting it to be Mr Turner… alas it was not, " Cap'n, is everythin to your satisfaction?" The regal redhead looked everything over in the room, studying it well and nodded," Aye. Go check on Mr Turner. Tisn't nice to keep a woman waiting. And I don't see him as a man of bad manners." To her Will was a gentlemen pirate, the kind that have stories spun about them dealing with both romance and their adventurous exploits.#nosmileys

After being roughly tossed into the tight quarters by a laughing wench he found himself staring at a room that would pass for the standards of First mate on most ships. It was enough to make him sick. Jack, he was sure, would have fancied himself special for earning such accommodations… Will, on the other hand, found it appalling that his crew was below deck, stuffed in like sausages while he was given this special treatment. Begrudgingly he walked to the bedside table and chair wherein his attire for the evening meal had already been laid out.
William pondered the consequences or refusing this intolerant woman, but by his guesses she would find some way to reprimand his actions and obviously she knew it was by torturing his crew. No, he would have to do as she requested, for now… Angrily William removed his water sodden and ripped attire to don the new clothes. Alternately he cursed Redd while pacing, or stopped to irately throw on part of the attire, all the while trying to maintain the control over his rage that he used to have before all of the mess with Sparrow had happened.
Eventually, and after much humbling, William stood before the long mirror fully dressed. He wore a Frock Coat of deep burgundy with cornered French style cuffs, full length sleeves, lowered welt pocket with flip, and button hole detailing down both front panels and the back vent. Beneath that was a crisp white shirt with a v-shaped neck and a banded collar.
The sleeves and body of the shirt were more full and blousy than the work shirts William was used to, and he found himself wincing with distaste as the back was gathered into a yoke. With a sneer he left the cravat, baldric, and gloves on the wayside, picking up the length of ribbon. He pulled his dark locks back into a ponytail at the nape of his neck, fastening it with the ebony ribbon. His face was shaven, save the neatly trimmed mustache and goatee, and his skin was washed of the black powder and marks of the fight that had graced it earlier.
Once he opened his door he heard the scattering of many feet and many voices giggling quietly. A hard woman walked the narrow hallway and sized up Turner. “Come with me. It’s not proper to keep the Captain waiting.” William set his jaw and followed walking with her in the rear until he was once again forced though a set of doors. “Charming crew you have, my compliments to their graces. Finishing school… you don’t say? All of them?” His words were biting but his tenor was light, and jovial.

With a flick of her wrist the cigarette was tossed out the open window and into the sea. She then closed the large wooden and glass paned window and walked to the middle of the room, her movements languid, sleek and sensuous. Despite her life in a man's world, Redd was very much a woman, who has no problem at all professing it and doing a through job about it. With a hand situation just at the crest of her hip Redd waited, her stomach begging her to put some of the glorious smelling food in it. But she waits, she does have some manners.
A smile, close to amused crossed her lips as he entered," Ah. Captain Turner, so glad of you to join me." A nod was given to the crewmate who had escorted him in and she was gone, leaving the two alone, " You look uncomfortable." The grin grew in light of her statement. She wanted to see him twitch," And no, not finishing school. It's just they've learned that despite all this being a man's world, there is room for ladies and they can still act like a lady."
With a simple gesture she addressed his attention to the table, "I hope this is well enough. Your crew seemed to." She took the bottle of wine and carefully poured some into William's goblet and then her own and sat down.
" Were your quarters satisfactory?" She asked, making small talk while getting herself a good helping of fish. With that she went into silence and ate. Her manners not the dainty sort, but respectful none the less as she continued to steal glances towards her captive wondering what he was thinking other than the obvious things, he hated her, he wanted to escape, is she mistreating my crew? She had heard them all before, and she had the answers down so well that she could rattle them off as soon as the first statement was made verbally.
She wondered what made him so angry, so passionate about his anger as well," Have you any questions burning within your skull for me?" She took a long sip of wine and sat back a moment just staring at him, trying to make him twitch.#nosmileys

As he stood before the woman William was thinking of the last time he’d tangled with a pirate that was above his mark; when he was a small boy left floating on the water, feeling the salty liquid rushing over his face and lacking the strength to mindset to stop it. The setting might have been different, but he still felt the same way. As if he were still in that water, unable to fight against the tide that threatened to overtake him. He refrained from additional comment or contradiction about her crew, knowing that she would just play into the farcical banter to further irritate him.
With as much grace as he could muster, William Turner sat across from the redheaded scoundrel watching her eat. His eyes glanced over to what she chose, and he followed suit, only taking from the dishes that she sampled. He doubted that she would end his life with venomous poison but he wasn’t about to take any chances. He sampled the baked sea bass, enjoying the mulled cider soft apples that accompanied the dish, but he did not allow himself to eat nearly half as much as Redd. It wasn’t out of rudeness that he did not eat so heartily, it was more that his constitution was too unsettled to allow for a full meal.
Reaching out to the crystal decanter of wine, the roguish pirate took hold of the wine, pouring his glass to the top. Without break he took a long drink, before answering her, holding his tongue a bit longer than he would have in a more congenial setting.
“Captain, I have a lot of questions… but I doubt very much if you would grace me with answers I would find pleasing. I’m sure you’ve had your own reasons for attacking my ship, but it doesn’t make it any easier to get accustomed to.” His eyes smoldered like black coals, staring into the very pit of her. Clean fingers wrapped about the glass as he again drank. “I will do as you ask, while the circumstances remain as they are, but I warn you… if you value your life, never let me get within a length of steel, else you will find yourself in a situation you cannot parry your way out of.”

Slowly a lazy half smile worked it's way across her lips, her eyes picking up the glow of the candles within them. It causes her green eyes to glow themselves and the various specks of gold to shine and glimmer, giving her an unreal and mystic look. Her smile however change it, making her almost demon like. Indeed one of a kind. A woman hardened by the sea, but still a woman and not like any other.
She watched him take from the dishes only she did and shook her head slowly, amused at the fact he considered that she would poison him. She had no reason too. He would be of no use to her dead. Just like his crew would be of no use to her malnourished," Eat what you will, there lies no poison in the food. I've no reason to kill you Mr Turner. So worry not for your life." She added, her tone assuring, but still bemused at him.
Such a clever pirate indeed, nor trusting. She watched him down the wine and smiled knowing she was getting to him, knowing that he wanted badly to give her a beating she deserved. But she was one of the best, if not the best swordswoman known about the Pirate community. Not many dared to cross blades with her, even the most reckless would surrender first," I'll keep your warning in mind."
Suddenly a noise from beyond the thick wooden walls around them caused a brow to arch and the beauty to rise from her seat, the smile gone from her lips," Excuse me a moment." To the doors she went, moving swiftly and threw them open stepping directly out onto the bridge and gazed around.
Silence. Around her everything was dark, she could not see any signs of her crew, nor could she see another ship around… but damn was the fog suddenly thick. Quickly she advanced across the bridge and down to the main deck looking around, her eyes traveling from sail to deck and from one side to the other. Not liking the situation her sword was drawn, the sound of the sharp steel becoming unsheathed cutting through the eerie silence.
" C-Cap'n…that you?" Came a voice from behind her, turning Redd gasped seeing one of her crew members laying barely alive in a pool of her own blood," Mersa… what happened?" She asked kneeling down trying to assess the girl's wounds… they were fatal," The fog came up… just like that. Next thing I know someone's cut me with a sword. Maybe a knife too." Standing, her clothing covered here in there in the blood of her crew member, Amber's expression became horrified as she beheld most of her crew laying dead or close to it on deck, " What in the bloody hell…"
Instantly she went back up to the bridge and grabbed her scope and began to scan the night as best she could. Growling in frustration, Redd took hold of a rope and pulled herself up into the crow's nest and found her view a bit easier. From her high vantage point the redhead could spy small group of islands near and a strange ominous black object slithering away on the way masked by fog and shadows," It can't be." She had heard tales of this ship… but The Rayven seemed very real, even for a supposed ghost ship.#nosmileys

Gin never made it to the top of the deck while the whole onslaught came about. She tried, but her busy works was getting thrashed around. She couldn't let it be smashed! Not to mention the fact that when the beauty of the ship shifted a wrong way the crates underneath her boards moved heard, plying themselves against the door frame. Blast her idea to have a fun time, and Blast that red haired crazy English woman above for doing so. Finally the whole ordeal was ended and she sighed, trying to fix everything back into its place. Genivive Bonnet was her name, Jolly Gin is what they called her, Second Mate to Captian Redd of the Mercy's Peril, Amazon of the Seven Sea's, daughter to two most infamous Pirates, was having her nice trouble.
Finally after quite a bit of moments to spare, Gin decided to take to the deck above. She knew that the Peril would have everything perfectly in charge, that was why she loved her Captian so much, she had a way of herself. A way of keeping everything perfectly in tune. As if it all was some playful plan she did not know about until after.
Reaching the top, she rubbed her arm a bit. Quite a bit of time had passed and which Gin was rather well, late per sometimes usual. But she always had her way of helping out. "W'at in de 'ell are ye all doin' up 'ere" her French accent was like that of any one born to the French coasts. well except for the fact that she had a bit of an Irish twist in there too. " 'aving Fun withou' me." she seemed to beam as she was always seen, but something was amiss. Not many things could remove the smile off Gin's face and make her stone white but this site did. Her eyes trailed up in their pale blue orbs to stare horridly at the death and injury of many of her fellow crew. A fog of odd sights was slowly leaving and many layed bloody in their wake. " By Davey Jones Locker.." she was for once in her life speechless. Turning her eyes up she saw Redd in the nest. " What 'appened!? " she couldn't understand it..really. And with the few that were left standing, she moved to help the still barely alive and injured.
