Casi’s nose went on a search for something she could snack on. What was she doing? She shook her nose and set her hand resting on her belly. “Aye, we need to find Father, yes kids?” She nodded to herself before walking down the street with a halter on and her belly covered by a duster of kinds.
It was more than painfully obvious that Casi was pregnant. She was only a few weeks and she looked six months already. Something inside her then clicked and she let a side of her that she had been hiding and holding in let loose. She wasn’t herself lately she was something else.
Either way she felt her body move towards this bar, this magnificent bar that held Tommy, her new husband and the father of her twins. Yes twins, she felt them both in there. Her hand rubbed over her stomach area as she smiled down to it. She was slowly learning-yes motherhood will be very interesting.
However, rather than going in the charming bar, she ran face first into her Tommy, and her hand went up and smacked him hard across the face. “Ye leave me in a motel while yer out drinkin Tommy Flynn?” She growled her sediments before settling inside a booth in tears. There was a girl there that she didn’t know, but something familiar about the other one.
That’s when she looked up and saw him, Allen Francis Doyle. Face went back into her hands. She couldn’t let him see her, after all, she did grow up closer to Allen than Tommy-and for Allen to see her like this, oh she could see it now. Even she, being the way she was as of now, knew it to be smarter to not let him see her if he hadn’t already. How it hadn’t dawned on her that this was the same Doyle family that she grew up with was beyond her. She couldn’t believe to irony of things.
However she continued to sob until Tommy’s hands curled around her and his apologies flooded her ears. “Not good enough Tommy…” she sobbed before letting her head curl into his stomach as he held her. She loved Tommy, but she had never thought all of this would happen and go on within one night. “Ya know Tommy, we get hungry too ya know.”
“Yes I know, I know because that’s where the majority of our money goes, keeping you guys healthy and fed.” He corrected his almost spite-ish sentence quickly before he held her tight. “Don leave without meh knowing, Casi, please.” He pleaded and she nuzzled him more before her spine tensed.
Tommy turned to his brother slightly and smiled a tear-filled smile. “Allen, this is Casideh, Casideh Doyle… my wife.”
