Piotr watched as she lowered the blade, as she did his armored form lowered and he stood before his sister, looking directly at her, he found it hard to believe that this was his sister infront of him....The same that was killed by Omega Red. He searched for something to say, but his mind drew a blank. dropping to his knees he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, tears swiftly streaming down his cheeks.
"What happened, I thought Omega Red......"
he looked up to her and smiled, his christmas for so many years past finally comming true. His little snowflake had returned to him.

“ Net.” She spoke simply as he looked towards her. A she lowered her weapon he reverted his mutation. Illyana’s weight shifted in the stance. The last time she’d seen her brother had been a long time, she was only a child then. Clutched within the grasps of death. But somehow, someway she was pulled from it, brought into Limbo where time and space had no real meaning. Or definition. Breath pulled from her lips as he took a step closer. She wanted to believe it was really him, after all those years, that it wasn’t something she was going to wake from.
Though she was no longer the simple girl she’d been. There were parts of her dark and tainted. While her mutation came into effect in her youth. Putting the soulsword away she studied Piotr once more. Now he was getting closer dropping to his knees before her. Even then he was nearly as tall as she was. Current time was lost on her. She only came to the conclusion it must have been a holiday with how everything was decorated. The last Christmas she ever remembered was when she was five. Snow falling during the cold soviet winter.
Fingers brushed back against her brothers hair, unsure of how to embrace him after so long. Truth was she hardly knew him, and he her. Years lost would have to be made up. “I’m no longer a child, brother.” This time English fell from her lips, rich with accent. Blue eyes danced over her brothers form to the young man with dark hair before them. No words were expressed to him, and there was little sign of remorse for what she’d done. She had been trained to be that way. You did what you must. It was part of her darksoul, a force she would always be internally struggling against. “What is this place…home?” She looked back down to her brother who was smiling up at her. Hand rested on his broad shoulder before she stepped back from him. Slender wheat colored brow arching with the question she’d posed to him.

Confusion was the only emotion showed on Shawn’s face. Fear wasn’t far behind, but with a silver blade in front of him there was no time to be afraid. Muscles tightened as he tried once again to move out of the line of her swing. Without prevail he sighed and kept his glance on her. It had been a bit since he said his name; he figured she didn’t speak English.
Quickly her eyes shifted from him to the incoming of another. The man pushed his way into the room. His skin turned from pinkish flesh into a metallic surface, his feet hit the ground harder as he rushed in. Within seconds he was between the sword and Shawn’s strained body. With that, the tension in his muscles lightened. He was still on his toes, not knowing where this confrontation was going to lead.
He heard whatever language the girl spoke coming from the man who stood in front of him or at least he thought it was the same. Shock was the initial feeling. Even more confused then before Shawn looked at the two and tilted his head to the right. “Illyana, little snowflake.” Angry somewhat Shawn stared at the two.
“Oh you two know each other, that’s great. Wow” he taunted. Sarcastic was the only thing that came to him. He slowly left the spot he was forced to stand and moved to the side of them. Happy, of course that he wasn’t going to be sliced and diced but angry at the fact this school was whack. So far he’d gotten the warm welcome from headmaster Logan, not to mention his fellow classmate, and now he almost got the wrong end of a sword. Ah this school was just full of surprises.
He didn’t want to pry into their conversation but the thought of what might happen if he tried to leave kept him close. Soon he heard English resurfacing in the room. Something he could understand. Then tears, also something he could understand. He regretted his comment earlier when he heard her say brother. Her blue eyes pierced him again. As if to say, “Why are you still here?” Who knows, maybe that’s not what she meant to do but he knew “here” wasn’t really a place for him. With that he looked at the two siblings who were in a trance of reunion. Body turning to the open hallway he took even paces. Looking back he slightly smiled. At least someone would be happy on Christmas.

Now that Illyana was here Piotr competly forgot about Shawn, this was his dream brought to life. As she stepped away Piotr slowly stood up and looked at his sister, the smile never leaving his face. "Yes. this is my home now. After you um....died at the hands of Omega Red I was lost.....I did many things which i am not proud of, however they led me here. The man who runs this place, Charles Xaiver would be glad your here. I have so much to show you and people to introduce you to... You have no idea how much I missed you." he looked at her again, obviously overjoyed at the fact she was there infront of him.
:My friends Jean and Logan will be very glad to meet you.....They have heard much about our childhood when we were together." it was then that Piotr realized how confusing this could be for her.
"This place is a school for people with...powers, like me. Ever since mother and father passed because of Omega Red yet again I have been here, there people are like my family now."

Eyes lifted once more towards the boy. He hadn’t said anything since his name, until Piotr embraced her. She caught the feeling he wasn’t overly enthused. Watching as he started to leave the room. Part of her wanted to express an apology to him. The other held her tongue silent. Blue orbs trained back down to her brothers as he shifted raising to his feet. Piotr had always been much taller than she was, but even in his grown state as a man he seemed huge. Though she had changed herself. Child like features were replaced with womanly curves. The light and laughter that used to sparkle in her eyes was all but lost. Now they seemed colder, and expressive.
Looking at his silly grin, the corners of hers curved up for a moment, then faded. Listening to him explain that this was his home now. That she was lost to the world in death. She did not feel dead in fact she felt very much alive. Chest rose and fell with breath. Senses could take in the sights, sounds, smells and warmth of her surroundings. “What of Mama, and Papa? Mikhail?” Form paced away from her brother as he continued about the School and the man who ran it. There was joy in his voice and Illyana shifted to look at him once more. “I do not know how long it’s been…for the first while I just wanted to be home. And then those feeling faded. Childhood…I barely remember the games we used to play. Piotr, I’m a witch.”
Stopping her digits traced against the wall supporting herself on it as she turned to watch her brother. Blonde tresses falling over shoulders. The dark armor upon her arm had faded away to revel flesh. She listened to him talk about the school more, it being a place for people with powers. “If they all have powers, why did that boy not use his against me. As I used mine against my teacher. I know ever spell in his book, the only thing he never trained me was the disks of energy I learned to create when I was younger.” Family. Family was something she’d been without not even the man who’d taught her could be close to family. But she knew one thing, she wasn’t going to spend the rest of her life in Limbo, not that she’d finally escaped it. “Then I will stay here, with you.”

Around the corner Shawn casually leaned against the wall, still listening to their conversation. He wasn’t being nosey; he just had nothing else to do. Though listening in on others meaningful conversations wasn’t a high interest. So after only a few seconds he continued down the hall. His glance came across the different objects that decorated the long hallway. He thought back to his journey here. Walking most of it due to the fact buses didn’t travel through woods. Driving himself was out of the question. His car he bought with his own money never stood a chance. Shawn’s father quickly “borrowed” it resulting in Shawn never getting it back. Then not even after a month of owning it his dad totaled it. Shaking his head to the memory he stopped just outside of the kitchen.
He didn’t really feel like waiting in the kitchen for his room to be settled. Restless legs wouldn’t be able to sit still long enough. Turning down another quarter his legs kept taking him further down the long honeycomb like hallways. Hearing talking coming from different rooms he passed. Not sure classes were in session he kept from entering. It wasn’t long until the constant tour of random turns got boring.
Straight ahead of him was a stairwell. He slowly made his way to it and sat down a few steps up. Putting his elbows on his knees he cradled his head in his hands. A slight headache was forming. He reached for his bag, to grab some Advil, but realized he left it in the kitchen. He looked up towards the empty space in front of him. And so he waited on the stairs, like he waited for the bus the day he left. Except this time he wasn’t heading somewhere he might belong, he was just waiting to belong.

X listened to the words that was said, the explaination of christmas. Perhaps later she would meet with the blue fuzzy man known as Professor Hank McCoy but for now she was happy in her ignorant little world. She didn't have religious beliefs so that put out the whole idea of that, after all in her world there was no room for lessons on religion and from what she had gathered from her short travels it was just another way to make people hate other people. She didn't see a point to believing in anything that wasn't proven to be real, and besides you only have yourself to believe in and trust in X's opinion. As for the family aspect well, she didn't really have any, at least not in the most normal sense. She was a genetic duplicate and copy of a man, she wasn't born from semen but she was conceived in a woman who was now dead. Logan you could say was the closest she had to family. In a sense she was him in a sense she was very much not, Sister, Daughter, which ever way you put it it really didn't matter. And Jamie well if he was Logan's kid as they say he is then somehow he would be connected to her to. But living without family for so long you tend to take it all too niavely.
X watched as Kevin spoke out and left the room, then Jamie followed behind. The only ones she recognized her age was Jay who came in and smiled their way. A nod was all she got from her before he set himself up with the kids, beginning to play his instrument.X was left to listen and marvel in the songs, she had never heard anything like it. Somehow she felt something different in her when Jay sang or played his music, she felt different, carefree, relaxed, you name it. The world just seemed better. After staring without even a blink at the bunch of kids who giggled here and there at the words he sang, she felt the corner of her lips pull slightly into a grin before she stood. It was time to get dressed she figured, no point in staying in her black tank top and pj shorts. She made her way from the room, the smile soon fading from existance as she stared ahead of her when she moved. Her eyes had that same burning feel to them that they had before, no matter how hard she tried to hide it with her stoic features. The shouts did not escape her ears nor did every word said. Sounded like someone had something to look forward to this christmas.
When she reached the stairs which would lead to the upper level, she caught the scent of someone slightly familiar, if only by introduction this morning. That Shawn guy was sitting there, looking someone bored or something. She took each step carefully and without much paying attention to him. Like many other things or people she seemed to be in her own little world where she ignored you. She wouldn't say anything, she wouldn't even glance her way as she moved. But when she reached the step he was on, she suddenly stopped and turned her head and eyes towards him. Her words came out so monotoned and without emotion, " She didn't understand how she got here, she doesn't know where she is. She also wanted to know if you spoke Russian. You answered her right with your name"

He watched in silence as the quiet echo of footsteps made their way to the stairs. It was the girl from earlier. He was guessing X, since Kevin was obviously a boys name and Jamie just didn’t seem to fit her. Her steps were taken with a fast pace. As she got closer he could see her facial features. No hint of notice came his way. Not that he was surprised. Maybe he also had the mutant ability to disappear. Since not exactly everyone hinted his existence. He sighed he hated being new to anything. Others always had a way of making the newbie feel like a loser. Either that or they were all going to think he was a loner. Which in a case he was, he never befriended the right people. Not even looking as she came up the stairs slowly, her thoughts elsewhere. As her foot lay down upon the step on which he sat he heard her voice.
" She didn't understand how she got here, she doesn't know where she is. She also wanted to know if you spoke Russian. You answered her right with your name" His neck slightly turned and looked up at her. Not even putting two and two together at first he just stared. Then it hit him. “Oh, Russian. I didn’t know.” Well duh obviously you didn’t you dumbass his conscience teased at him. His eyes looked at her. Even if her words lacked emotion her eyes still had that fiery passion. Why would she say that, of all things to say she just bursts out with the “you are an idiot,” remark. With that he stood up his stiff body cracking slightly. Turning to her with a quick remark, “nice meeting you.” He headed down the stairs.

She never really paid attention to many people. If they needed her attention then they would get it otherwise she stayed in her own little world most of the time. Safe from everyone else. She didn't like others prying into things she didn't want to think about. The last time she acted in any way with emotion she had to say was with Jamie. He understood now one of her secrets from the past. No one else but him knew it, not even Logan. And from all her secrets she didn't want anyone to know anyways.
Suddenly he stood up and spoke before heading down the stairs. Her head tilted a bit to the side before she returned with her own words. "Welcome Home." was her somewhat cryptic words before she turned to continue on up ther stairs. X wasn't much for explaining or small talk, heck she hardly talked to be honest at all. The only time she did was usually with a very straight foward or blunt remark or question. She didn't beat around the bush as they said.
Making it to her room didn't take long at all. Not even closing the door behind her, she didn't care, she removed her tank top and let it fall to the floor, her shorts following suit. She grabbed her pants, a pair of black leather ones that hugged her form snuggly. Then came her dark black tank top that exposed her midrift. A spikey belt with a chain hanging off the side, a leather jacket that didn't quite come down to her hips rested open and a pair of find biker gloves wrapped around her hands. She let her blades slide nicely through the slits before retracting them again. Adjusting the collar around her neck that she always wore with a interesting symbol on it, black combat boots were tied along her ankles and she was ready to go. Stepped out from the room, she hardly touched the door causing it to close. A small rumble in her tummy signaled she wanted something from the kitchen and so making her way down the same flight of stairs she came from earlier she was on ground floor again.
The Kitchen was pretty empty now, she made sure of that before entering in. No one was around anymore which was fine with her, she wasn't much of a socialite at all. Opening the fridge door, she took a inhale and sniffed the air that came form it. Something smelled good. Noticing a few drumsticks that were made the other night she grabbed the plate and placed it on the counter top. Before grabbing on of the chicken peices and digging in. It tastes good, and was very filling indeed. She was happy to finally get something into her system, today she knew was going to be a nice long day.

Post by Logan: Weapon X: Wolverine on Mar 17, 2006 1:20:08 GMT -5
Large hands rubbed the backside of his neck while stairing at the computer screen. There was an empty room set aside under Charles direction, even if Logan didn’t know as to why. When the man wanted something done you let him. Yet not even the thought of being mentally a six year old girl could break Wolverine of his cigar habit. Fingers clacked against the keyboard as he looked over the current rooms. Then narrowed it down to the ones of similar age, one name stood out to him the most, Jay Guthrie. Kid had away with making friends, and people feel welcomed. He’d noticed it before with X-23.
Finishing the paper work he pushed away from the desk. He’d get the rest of the information tomorrow. Might as well give the kid a break from answering a bunch of lame questions on his first day. System shut down as Wolverine exited his office. The scent of Jamie and Kevin had recently passed, along with X and Jay. Today at least a majority of the activity was in the Rec Room. Keen senses could pick up the sound of music. Heading that direction first he leaned in the doorframe watching the winged mutant play. “Guthrie.” Head nodded back motioning him to come, to the disappointed awws of the young children. The only thing about the holidays was no classes were being held, and the children were free to roam, where they could at least.
“We got a newbie today…and I’m assigning him as your new roommate.” Logan’s weight shifted as he headed towards the kitchen with Jay in tow. After all it was the logical place to start, it was where he’d left the boy. Pushing open the swinging door sights fell on X devouring some of the leftovers from last night. There was a slight chuckle from the Canuck. “I like cold left-overs too, so ya better save some of that for me.” Logan sniffed the air, for their missing student. Catching something else, someone else. Brows narrowed together for a moment as he pushed back out of the kitchen. It was on the other side. Pausing he looked towards Jay, whatever it was would wait a moment longer. Heading down the hallway towards the main foyer and stairs he spotted the kid sulking. Stepping closer her motioned towards Jay. “McCoy – Guthrie, Guthrie – McCoy. He’s your roommate, help him get settled will you, I gotta feeling there something I need to take care of.”

Music was everything to Jay, well almost everything. He’d found that it could sooth even the most troubled of souls. It was a good release. Fingers strummed over the cords again with a few other renditions. Watching the departure of Kevin, Jamie then subsequently X. Eyes watched after her, sometimes he wondered how she was fitting it. Turning his attention back to the kids he took a few requests before another presence called for his attention. Looking across the short heads before him to the Headmaster. “Why don’t you guys go play, just don’t make a big mess.” He smiled ruffling the hair of one of the youngsters as he walked over towards the Wolverine. In away it was weird seeing him as his Headmaster. Wolverine had been their when his brother had been shot and there was trouble back home.
“Yeah, ok.” Shoulder shrugged up slightly. New students weren’t as big of a deal as half of the people though. It was part of living at a school for mutants, with new people coming into their meta-human powers all the time. Xavier wanted a place where they could turn, now they had two centers. Large wings stretched out behind him as he followed Logan never bothering to question about it. There was a brief stop at the kitchen before they continued. Jay scanning the hallways for a kid he’d never seen before. Stopping he looked up at the first few stairs. “McCoy – Guthrie, Guthrie – McCoy. He’s your roommate, help him get settled will you, I gotta feeling there something I need to take care of.” Hand extended out towards the boy while a smile played on his features. Weight on sneaker clad feet shifted as he looked down to the kid who was going to be his new roommate. “You can call me Jay…So what’s your power?” Moving he took a seat a few steps below the kid looking up at him. Red wings flexing like a bird who’d just landed on it’s perch. It was easy with mutations that affected physical look. It was the ones that looked normal that were intriguing.

The stairs like everything else had gotten the approval of dull. The place itself wasn’t dull to Shawn; just the overwhelming feeling of why was he here. Sick of asking that question to himself he decided that he was here and nothing and no one was going to make him feel unwelcome. “To hell with them,” he thought to himself, “ I’m here and they are just going to have to deal with that.” A smile crossed his face as the cocky attitude returned to the young mutant. Now waiting on the other hand was never one of Shawn’s strong points. He hated having to stand in lines, wait your turn, or sit on a stair well and wait for a teacher to come get you. Patience was definitely not a virtue to him. Soon he grew tired of sitting and was just about to explore elsewhere when he heard the heavy footsteps of incomers.
Wolverine had appeared around the corner followed by another mutant. Eyes locked on the wings as the boy and Logan got closer. The outstretched wings were clearly visible to Shawn’s sight, and that was perplexing. It had really been the first time he’d seen anyone’s powers out in the open. Most were just like him, the talent within. Shawn was anxious to see what everyone could do. He didn’t really know when he could see those talents, besides others hadn’t even really said hi. The pair stopped right at the bottom of the staircase.
“McCoy – Guthrie, Guthrie – McCoy. He’s your roommate, help him get settled will you, I gotta feeling there something I need to take care of.” Shawn’s hand clasped the welcoming shake. He returned the smile to his new roommate. He was glad it was someone other then the kid from earlier. If they had to share a room there was only going to be tension. Then a fight. Understanding why the young man had his anger towards Shawn was far from being grasped. Shawn hadn’t been there for whatever was the source of all the rage inside the boy. It didn’t matter anyways, he was sure he’d have another entanglement with the boy, and that he would face when it happened.
“You can call me Jay…So what’s your power?” “Shawn,” was a quick reply to you can call me Jay. Shawn thought of how he could show off his power. It was one thing to just flat out show it, but every mutant wanted there to be class in a first time. Maybe it was just the urge to show off. Shawn wasn’t one to brag about his ability to take the form of anyone or anything, but it was always fun to concur his choice with that of which the bystander wished. But knowing a boy’s mind it would probably be some hot super model, which Shawn had no interest in replicating. His eyes shifted to the curious eyes of Jay, who sat and waited to see what the new kid could do. Shawn looked up at Headmaster Logan who was still leaned against the wall. His eyes concentrated on the build and the details. Though his mind never really had to before, he could become anyone down to a t without even seeing him or her.
A tingle swept quickly over his skin as the change took its affect. His forearms grew longer as well as biceps, which got the muscle they hadn’t before. His brown hair slowly turned dark black slightly outstretched in points. Sideburns formed along the new jaw line. Cracking his neck Shawn looked at the two and smirked. Other then the clothes, Shawn was a perfect match to Logan. The clothes he never could get to change along with his body. Could he even do that? He often wondered to himself but whenever he tried his clothes remained the same. Bummer really.

She sat in the kitchen for the few minutes it took to drink her coffee until the sound of voices in the living room warranted enough of a lure to make her investigate. Slipping through the doorway she stood at the vestibule listening to the banter of confused voices and the new student who, it seemed, Colossus knew. “Yeah, this just screams none-of-my-business.” Ducking back into the kitchen Nori put her mug in the sink and pushed out of the kitchen via the rarely used side-door, quickly making her way to the main stairwell.
It was hard to say what was faster in regards to Noriko Ashida, her gait or her quip – but at the moment it seemed her cynicism had the upper hand. “Holy crap! And I thought ONE Wolverine was hard enough to deal with.” She laughed nervously, looking between the trio. “Alright so what gives? Long lost brother… genetic clone…” she snapped her fingers with a metallic ‘clink’ “No, I got it… This is some kind of Danger Room hologram gone rogue, right?”

Yawning slightly the fanged beauty slowly began to wake up-however… her body just wanted to stay there. Sighing she slowly began to get up, arms resting, her back coiling and stretching. “Ah…” all the time her eyes closed, and as interesting as it was, the inside of her eyelids were just not that interesting! Sighing again she rolled over, hiding under her blanket for a few moments.
Finally a body slithered out from underneath the dark sheets. She made her way to the mirror and slowly put up her hair, yawning in the process. “Such a morning person…” she mumbled before smacking her face and shaking her head. Applying makeup was first on her list though, and getting properly dressed. Humming as she did her duties her body slowly stretched again as she pulled her tight jeans up to her hips and her just as tight blouse over her head.
The hair was fixed once more before she slunk down the hall and down the stairs. Eyes would shoot here and there before she realized-crap… it’s Christmas. The only two people she had presents for though, were well… the only two people she cared to get stuff for. Running to her room again she grabbed the bag for Logan and the bag for Bobby.
First stop she went to the rec room, and placed Bobby’s bag underneath the tree. Mistletoe, an ice tray (personal gag) and a necklace (standard 18ct silver chain) in a black velvet box lay in the bag for the Iceman. She smiled as she tucked the “Merry Christmas” card into the bag.
Next she held the bag for Logan to her chest, in a way right now he was like… her dad-but you would never EVER catch her saying that, and she’d be just as quick to cut your tongue off if you were heard saying that. A pack of four bandanas, a new Zippo lighter, a cigar cutter, and a box of cuban cigars all lay within the bag. Another “Merry X-mas” card was tucked away, but due to the contents, she would rather hand him the bag herself.
As her body moved towards the kitchen, she smiled to herself and mumbled a few things under her breath about how she needed coffee bad. However upon entering the room, her eyes went wide to the point she almost dropped the bag. “Great… just great. Like I don’t get into enough quarrels with one Logan.” Eyes rolled before she winked to the shapeshifter. “Ok now that the obvious jokes are done…” her body slyly moved towards the actual Wolverine. “Here ya go guardian…” she smirked, pinched his cheek then heard the comment about having to take care of something and Nori’s comment about the Dangerroom sitch gone wrong. “Nah girly” she remembered the blue hair from the other day-when she hadn’t answered her after she introduced herself “He’s just a shifter, we had a bunch of those… uh at the other mutant place I stayed.” Then her eyes shot full on Logan “Just open it first, will you Logan?”

When she mentioned their family Piotr's smile slowly faded. he turned for a moment then looked back to her.
"Mother and Father were killed by Omega Red. The same day I thought i had lost you......Mikhail.....he left with Omega Red, leaving the farm in shambles......I have not heard from him since that day." He touched her cheek lovingly. He still could not believe that after all this time she was here infront of him.
He listened to her, engulfing every word she said, "A witch?" he smiled a little. "If you are happy, thats all that matters to me. Perhaps you could find someone here to help you and train with."
He slowly led her towards the door, wanting to show her everything. "We try to teach the students how to properly use their powers. By not using his powers aganist you, there was no fight. Things ended peacefully..." he looked at her again.
~Jean, you NEED to be here as soon as you can............um.....Illyana is here...my sister.~ he called out to jean with his mind.
